Sgt. Bobby Owens, a local police officer, comes to our classroom once a week to teach us how to resist drug and alcohol temptations. We participate in role plays that demonstrate ways to say no. We really enjoy our time with Sgt. Owens, but more importantly we learn skills that will help us cope with the upcoming dangers ahead.
